I first got interested in men’s style when I graduated high school in 2012. At that time, I was getting to understand how to dress and style clothing. It was a haphazard time to say the least.
It wasn’t until 2014, with the help of Combatant Gentlemen, that I found a direction for my style. I bought into their process of quality, value, and a lifestyle built around “Dressing Smarter”.
It wasn’t until 2017-2018 when I truly built my wardrobe. At this time, I also worked at a fine menswear store, Harper’s of State College. It was there that I learned more about fine men’s clothing and tailoring. I grew an appreciation for men’s style and the broad spectrum it encompasses.
After several years and many life transitions I decided I wanted to go further. I wanted to try and spread as much knowledge as I could through a blog.
